Show U. S. LISTS MORE ORGANIZATIONS AS SUBVERSIVE The government has branded some 30 additional organizations as subversive. The list was prepared by Attorney Attor-ney General Tom C. Clark. It was sent to all government agencies by Seth W. Richardson, chairman of President Truman's loyalty review board. Another group of about 80 organizations was designated subversive sub-versive by Clark last November. At that time he indicated that the list was not complete. The lists are used in connection with determinations deter-minations of the loyalty of federal employes. A few of the organizations added to the list today are: American Association for Reconstruction Recon-struction of Yugoslavia, Inc. American Committee for Protection Pro-tection of Foreign Born; The American Council for a Democratic Demo-cratic Greece, formerly known as the Greek American Council; American Croation Congress. American League for Peace and Democracy, successor to American League Against War and Facism and predecessor of American Peace Mobilization, both included in the November list. " American Russian Institute; California Labor School, Inc., San Francisco; The Citizens Protective League; Civil Rights Congress of Michigan, Civil Rights Congress, Milwaukee Chapter. Congress of American Women; The German-American Republican League; International Labor De- fense; Jewish Peoples Committee; League ' of American Writers; . National Council of Americans of Croatian Descent and Negro Labor Victory. - |
