Show Needle-Thread 4-H Club Names Officers A group of Mapleton girls have organized a 4-H Club to be known as the Needle and Thread 4-H Club, the first meeting being at the home of Kathleen Gividen. Carolyn Everett was named president of the group, with Sharon Shar-on Jensen, vice-president; 'Mary Ann Bird, secretary; Yvonne Hurst, reporter; Norma Jane Hatfield, Hat-field, song leader; Doris Ann Hales, organist; Bernetta Cazier, Barbara Allan, Kathleen Childs, Utahna Sorensen, Leah Whitney, Georgene Gividen, Thera Lou Jensen, Jen-sen, Georgena Smith, party committee. com-mittee. Advisors for the group are Leah Williams and Kathleen , Gividen, who gave the girls instructions on materials necessary to begin their sewing lessons, and explained that darning would be taken up, followed fol-lowed by the making of kitchen aprons. The girls will be required to keep a record book up-to-date. There are fourteen members now enrolled. |
