Show Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bird and children of Salt Lake City visited over the week end with brothers Maurice and George and families. Mrs. Glen Dallin, accompanied by her daughter Delphia, have returned re-turned to their home in Long Beach, Calif., after a few days visit with relatives and friends in Springville. Mrs. Dallin came for her daughter, Denise Dallin, who has been enrolled at the . BYU. During her stay she was extensively exten-sively entertained with a group of friends giving a party at the home of Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, and she, with her daughter, were guests at dinner one evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Ence and family accompanied by Mrs. A. V. Sanford are enjoying a trip to the northwest. They will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Woods at Tacoma and with other relatives and friends. Mrs. Woods is a daughter of Mrs. Sanford and sister of Mrs. Ence. Recent word for the Ences stated they had to make considerable detours due to the flood and had to be ferried across the Columbia river but otherwise the abnormal conditions in the northwest inconvenienced them but little. i Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Bird and son Raymond spent the week-end in Salt Lake City, visiting their par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Parker, and Mrs. May Bird. |
