Show FUNERAL SUNDAY AT 1:30 P. M. FOR E. A. JENKINS Funeral services for Elden A. Jenkins, 49, former Springville resident, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack last Sunday at the family residence at East Stan-wood, Stan-wood, Wash., will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m., in the Second ward chapel. Bishop Oliver Dalton will be in charge. Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday Satur-day and after 10 a.m., Sunday until time of the services, at the Charles Sanford home, 140 East Eighth South. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was born June 13, 1899 at Eureka, a son of Abraham and Rosetta Ostler Jenkins. At an early age, he moved with his parents par-ents to Springville and had spent most of his life here. He married Iris Sanford, January Janu-ary 3, 1922 in Salt Lake City and they made their home in Springville, Spring-ville, where he was employed with the Columbia Steel plant until a few years ago, when they moved to East Stanwood, Washington. He had been employed in shipyards at East Stanwood. Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of World War I, having served with the Marine Corps. i He is survived by his widow, two sons and one daughter, Keith, Elden and Jack Russel Jenkins of East Stanwood, Wash.; Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Finley, Springville; one grandchild grand-child and 10 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ethel Young, Mrs. Goldie Huber, Mrs. Birdie Baldwin, Chester, Ches-ter, Norman and Ted Jenkins of California; Harley Jenkins, Provo; Richard Jenkins, Payson; Mrs. Ida Roach, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Melva Harrison, Springville. |
