Show BETA SIGMA PHI GIVES FORMAL VALENTINE DANCE Lovely in every detail was the formal Valentine dancing party sponsored by the Springville Beta Sigma Phi chapter, assisted by the Provo and American Fork clubs, last Friday evening in the Fourth ward hall. A huge Valentine decorated the entrance and similar decorations were used throughout the larger hall with cut flowers and ferns adding a pretty note. A delightful floor show and program pro-gram were presented during intermission, inter-mission, with Miss Alice Louise Reynolds of Provo, furnishing dance numbers, as did also the professional dancers, Torra and Michael. Carol Jean Loveridge gave a vocal solo and Kay Weight also rendered a vocal number. A guilt was given away during the evening, with Lola Gene Butler But-ler of Spanish Fork holding the lucky ticket. Klell Case of Springville was in charge of the refreshments, with Marcella J. Tuttle, Geraldine York and Melva Dean Bird, assisting. A large crowd of chapter members mem-bers from Springville, American Fork and Provo, and their partners and guests, attended the delightful affair. |
