Show SPRIN CREEK D. U. P. CONDUCTS FEBRUARY MEET Members of Camp Spring Creek D. U. P. were treated to an, interesting inter-esting program at the February meeting held at the home of Mrs. Mary Smart last Thursday afternoon. after-noon. The history of Jabez Taylor, early ear-ly pioneer, was given by his daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Doris Taylor Day, and the history of his wife, Mrs. Mary Ruth Taylor, was given by Mrs. Ella M. Cragun. Descendants of the couple entertained with program pro-gram numbers during the after-non after-non as follows: vocal solo, Darlene Olsen, a granddaughter, solo, Wanda Wan-da Taylor of Spanish Fork, a granddaughter. Mrs. Eva Hansen gave the lesson "Men's Pioneer Clothing." During the meeting, Mrs. Eva Hansen and Mrs. Maude Christen-sen Christen-sen presented the captain, Mrs. Christie Lee, with a unique Valentine, Valen-tine, consisting of the pictures of Mrs. Hansen and Mrs. Christensen taken in the wedding dress which they exhibited at the January meeting in connection with the lesson given on that day. Mrs. Lee expressed her appreciation in a short response. At the close of the program, tasty refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Maude Christ-tensen, Christ-tensen, Mrs. Eva Hansen, Mrs. Myrtle Bird, Mrs. Julia Andreason, Mrs. Julia Whitehead and Mrs! Smart. |
