Show Girls' Leadership Uanquct Sdiediilcd This Evening Elder LcGrande Richards, Presiding Bishop, To Present Certificates To Girls Who Have Done Outstanding Work in Church In 1946 An important tliurch function of tlie week is the Stake Girls Leadership Lanquet and program Thursday evening, beginning at 7:30 p. m., in the Fourth ward hall, compli- menting all honor girls. The girls who have made an outstanding out-standing record in church activities, activi-ties, including attendance at meetings, meet-ings, paying of tithes, keeping the word of wisdom and other work during the year 1946, will be honored hon-ored guests of the evening and will be presented with certificates. The presentation of the certificates certifi-cates will be by Elder LeGrande Richards, Presiding Bishop of the church, who will also be the principal prin-cipal guest speaker during the evening. eve-ning. The banquet will be followed by a fine program with a number of girls taking part. Invited to attend the function, in addition to the honored girls, are the bishops and counselors of each ward, the state presidency and the chairmen of the Girls Leadership in each of the wards, together with their assistants and secretaries. Decorations for the banquet tables ta-bles will be in patriotic motifs and arrangements are being made to seat approximately 200 guests. In charge of the event are the stake leaders, Mrs. J. M. Hunter, Mrs. A. G. Peterson, Mrs. Clifford Crandali and Mrs. Frank Berrett. |
