Show Indian Program Scheduled April 26 As Art Benefit Entertainment An educational program designed for the entertainment enter-tainment of children and adults of Springville, is sponsored by the Home Culture club as an Art bene- fit on Tuesday, April 26, in the high school auditorium. On this date, Mrs. Ray Dillman of Roosevelt, national authority on Ute Indian culture will be in Springville to give a demonstrated demonstrat-ed lecture on "Early History of Eastern Utah," stressing Ute Indian In-dian culture. The program is planned for 3 p.m, for high school and grade students with all schools to be closed at this time for the entertainment. en-tertainment. At 8 p. m., the same evening, Mrs. Dillman will deliver her talk and demonstration for adults. Adding a note of interest to the afternoon and evening programs, will be the presence and performance perform-ance of several Indians including an Indian princess. Mrs. Dillman will also display some of the most beautiful of Indian handiwork including in-cluding beaded and hand-made robes and other attire. Mrs. Dillman is one of the foremost fore-most authorities in the country on Ute Indian culture, having made it a life-time study. To add to her knowledge on various Indian In-dian subjects she took out her Masters degree from the Northwestern North-western University at Chicago and recently completed a year's study at the University of New York. She is a graduate of the University Univer-sity of Utah and her services for lectures, articles and other authoritative material is in demand de-mand throughout the state. Townspeople may look forward to this date in anticipation of one of the finest programs of its kind scheduled for presentation here.
