Show On Tuesday of last week members mem-bers of the Springville high school D. E. Club, with members from Payson, made a tour through the Logan high school and the U. S. A. C. Later they went to Ogden and toured the million-dollar high school with a special guide. A representative from Sears & Roebuck Roe-buck also explained the functions of standard business offices to the group. A total of 22 students from the two cities enjoyed the tour. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Blanchard and family of Victor, Ida., spent several sev-eral days of the past week with Mrs. Blanchard's mother, Mrs Wesley Hutchings and other relatives rela-tives and friends in Springville They were accompanied by Mrs Blanchard's son, Blaine Beardall who had spent his vacation in Idaho Ida-ho and was returning to Westminister Westmin-ister College. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kindred have1 returned to their home in Sunland, Calif., after a ten-day visit with relatives and friends in Springville, Provo and Tooele. They came' especially es-pecially to attend general conference confer-ence and while here they also attended at-tended reunions of the New Zealand Zea-land missionaries and of the Japanese-American missionaries. Mrs. Kindred, the former Iris Lynn; and also a sister of Lawrence Lynn of this city, attended a party for Mrs. Hilton Robertson in Murray. The lady missionaries who served under un-der Mrs. Robertson in the Japanese-American mission were guests. Week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs.- Edmund Cragun were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wortley, and daughters, LuElla Jean, and Neva Loraine, of Park City. Mr. and Mrs. -Edmund M. Cragun and children, Carolyn, Ellen Beth, Arthur, Ar-thur, and Valeen; Mr. and Mrs. W. Rumel Cragun and family, Paul Rumel, Wilford Don, James William, Mary, and John Edmund. |
