Show Mothers Study Club Enjoys Fine Paper Mrs. Rena Roylance entertained for members of the Mothers Study club at her home on Friday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Margaret Huntington, club president, was in charge of the meeting, which featured an interesting in-teresting and well-given paper on the history of art by Mrs. Mary Schwartz. A study of a picture must be made to appreciate its value, Mrs. Schwartz said in discussing the art subject. She related that in 1890 there were seven Utah artists studying in France, and that at present there are nine lady artists in the state. The program also included two appropriate readings by Marilyn Roylance, and Mrs. Beulah .Whiting .Whit-ing reported on the ' legislative council meeting. President Huntington welcomed Mrs. Alta Adams, Mrs. Eva Crandall Cran-dall and Mrs. Ada Harrison back to the club. The meeting was concluded with tasty refreshments served by the hostess, assisted by her daughters, Mrs. Schwartz and Mrs. Helen Crandall. |
