Show Commercial Tests Friday at B.Y.U. For Two Counties "students from throughout Utah and Juab counties are exacted to compete in the annual region 3 commercial contests which will be held Friday at Brig-ham Young university, according to Alonzo Sandstrom, Tintic high school principal, prin-cipal, who will direct the contests. Contesting will start at 9 a.m. in' the north building on the BYU upper campus. The following schedule has been set up: Typewriting, Type-writing, first year, 0 a.m.; second year, 9:30 a.m., both in room 40N; shorthand, second year, 10 a.m.; first year, 10:30 a.m., both in room 4-1N; bookkeeping, first year, 11 a.m., in room 44N. At noon all visiting instructors and school officials are invited to be guests of the university at a luncheon to be held in the banquet hall of the Joseph Smith building. Demonstrations will begin at 1 a.m. in the Smith building banquet hall. The demonstrations will feature fea-ture Edward E. Wanous, representative repre-sentative of a large publishing company, in a typewriting exhibition, exhibi-tion, and Dean Hunter, district court reporter, in a machine demonstration. dem-onstration. Croft, assistant, professor pro-fessor of secretarial practice at BYU, will be associated with Mr. Sandstrom in directing the contests. con-tests.
