Pleasant Grove has run up impressive wins also in preseason pre-season games as has the Red Devil Dev-il squad and tonight's game promises prom-ises to be a close contest with both teams having nothing to gain or nothing to lose, except prestige. Coaoh Hughes has Miner and Christensen to rely' on for most of his scoring along with burly Ray Black, Blaine Bird and Hal Eggertsen. Haws and Clegg have been in on the scoring and are good semi-regulars. Also lengthy Gerald Bjarnson should not be counted out in the scoring column. For the Pleasant Grovers, Harris, center and Hilton are the big guns. The Vikings have defeated Y High and Lincoln and lost to American Fork. The Red Devil Sophomores, who have won four straight games in league play, to date, will attempt to make it five in a row when they meet the younger Viking club in their preliminary game. |
