Show STATE RELEASES HEALTH REPORT A total of 385 resident cases of communicable diseases was reported re-ported to the State Department of Health by physicians and health officers for the week ending January Janu-ary 24, 1947, as compared with 351 cases for the previous week. Chickenpox, in f 1 u e n z a, and mumps showed an increase the past week as compared with the previous week. One dipththeria case was reported re-ported during the past week from Tooele county. All infants . six months of age or older and preschool pre-school children should be immunized immun-ized against diphtheria. Two cases of septic sore throat were reported one a non-resident case and the other a resident case from Sanpete county. Two eases of malaria fever were reported during the past week. Both of those cases contracted their infection outside the Continental Contin-ental United States. Six cases of ringworm of the scalp were reported during the past week four from Cache county coun-ty and two from Utah county. |
