Show FUNERAL SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. ANNIE STRONG Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today at 1:30 p. m., in the Second ward chapel, for Mrs. Annie An-nie Hawke Strong, 31, wife of Fred J. Strong-, who died Sunday evening eve-ning at a Payson hospital. She underwent a major operation at the hospital about three months ago. The services will be under direction direc-tion of Bishop Oliver H. Dalton. Friends may call at the home of Elias Strong on the South Springville Spring-ville road, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by Berg Mortuary. Mortu-ary. Mrs. Strong was born in Provo, March 5, 1915, a daughter of Charlie Char-lie W. and Erma Louise Collins Hawke. She received her education educa-tion in the Provo city schools and graduated from the Provo high school in 1933. On December 10, 1936, she was married to Mr. Strong in the Salt Lake temple, and they had made their home in Springville since. Mr. Strong operates oper-ates a woodwork and repair shop here. Mrs. Strong had been active in; church work, having been a Primary Pri-mary teacher in Provo and in the Springville Second ward. She was also active in Relief Society work. Survivors include her husband, a son and three daughters, Eddie Hawke, Jeanette, Shirlene and Margy Strong, Springville; her parents of Provo and four brothers and sisters, Don W. Hawke, Miss Detta May Hawke and Mrs. Fay Bogh, Provo; Charlie Hawke, of Springville. |
