Show Rev. and Mrs. Kennedy left the past week for Caliente, Nev. where they plan to remain indefinitely because of Mrs. Kennedy's health. Taking Rev. Kennedy's place at the local Community Presbyterian church for the present time will be Rev. McCobe of Westminister College, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Victor Anderson spent the week-end with her husband, who is employed on construction at St. George. Together they visited the canyons in the southern part of the state. , Mrs. Nettie Sorensen of Maple-ton Maple-ton has returned home after spending spend-ing two weeks with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward Anderson at Watsonville, Calif. Mrs. Lois Peterson of Alamosa, Colo, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Loren Nielson and sister, Mrs. Grant Hall at Mapleton. She accompanied ac-companied another sister, Mrs. Louise Hildebrand back to Mapleton Maple-ton after a visit in Colorado. George Briggs has resigned his position with the Springville police force and plans to leave shortly after April 1 with his wife and children for Dallas, Texas to go into business. Miss Helen Reynolds left the past week for Houston, Texas, where she will spend three weeks with her sister and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. M. C. Dougall and family. |
