Show Alpha Beta Club Elects Officers Mrs. Eve Stevens, exchange teacher from England, gave an interesting in-teresting talk on her native land at the Alpha Beta club meeting Friday afternoon held at the home of Mrs. Sterling Price. The meeting also included the election of new officers, Mrs. E. V. Crandall, president; Mrs. A. Le-Roy Le-Roy Erickson, vice-president; Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson, secretary; Mrs. H T. Reynolds, corresponding correspond-ing secretary; Mrs. W. W. Clyde, treasurer; Mrs. Earl Condie, Mrs. F. C. Packard and Mrs. W. W. Brockbank, program committee; Mrs. E. L. Sheffield, Mrs. Sterling Price, executive board; Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford Beisinger, Mrs. B. F. Krause, health committee; Mrs. H. M. Weight, press committee; Mrs. Charles Boyer, art chairman; Mrs. Kenneth Condie, song leader; Mrs. Wm. Witney, accompanist; Mrs. W. L. Schreiner, parliamentarian. Concluding the meeting, the hostess served a nicely arranged lunch. The preceding meeting was conducted con-ducted at the home of Mrs. W. W. Brockbank where the well-known, author, Frank C. Robertson discussed dis-cussed the subject, "Why Authors Are Born". Don Gottfredson sang two numbers, accompanied by Douglas Childs. , The hostess served luncheon to club members and Mrs. Frank Robertson was a special guest. |
