Show Armed Forces Max Nielson Gets Out Of Navy Max Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcellus Nielson of Spanish Span-ish Fork,' formerly of Mapleton, has been given his discharge from the Navy and has arrived at their home in Spanish Fork. A Mo. M.M. 3c in the navy, he has served ser-ved two and a half years and has been overseas since September, stationed in the South Pacific including in-cluding Japan. He was previously stationed for approximately a year on the east coast. Pvt. M. Bliss Fullmer Gets Boots, Wings Pvt. M. Bliss Fullmer, son of Mrs. Jonena Fullmer, has earned the right to wear the "boots and wings," of the United States army airborne troops. He has just completed com-pleted eight weeks of combined parachute and glider training during dur-ing which time . he made seven jumps, the last two being tactical jumps, one at night and another at break of dawn. He has also completed special glider flights during the course, according to word received from Fort Benning, Ga. |
