Show LIONS TO HOLD INSTALLATION NEXT THURSDAY Lady Lions Officers Will Also Take Office; Program At Memorial Hall The Lions club will conduct installation in-stallation of new officers at a banquet ban-quet and program scheduled for Thursday evening, June 27, at 8:00 p. m., at Memorial hall, announces Dr. C. A. King, retiring president. During the evening, also, officers offi-cers of the Lady Lions will be installed. in-stalled. The installation program will be in charge of Frank Berrett, toast-master, toast-master, and will consist of music by Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Bybee and dance numbers by the Averett Sisters. Several district officials are expected ex-pected to be in attendance to of-ficate of-ficate at the installation exercises. Arnold Roylance will be installed in-stalled as president of the club, with Loyd Bird, first vice-pesi-dent; Lewis Thorpe, second vice-president; vice-president; Ivan Child, third vice-president; vice-president; Vernon Castleton, secretary sec-retary Charles Porter, treasurer; James Nielson, Lion Tamer; Lewis Bird, Tail Twister; G. W. Friel and Paul Frandsen, two-year directors. di-rectors. Harold Whiting and Mell Haymond are hold-over directors. |
