Show ALLOCATIONS OF SPECIAL PERMITS MADE BY BOARD Salt Lake City Allocations of special permits on Utah's problem range areas were released today by D. M. Gaufin, in charge of the division of game management for the Utah Fish & Game Dept. The figures were originally determined de-termined by the Board of Big Game Control following a series of meetings the week of July 6-12. The allocations are as follows: Ashley Forest, 1200 permits, including in-cluding 400 regular for Vernal, 500 either sex post season for Brown's Park, and 300 regular for 1 Greendale. Lost Creek-Woodruff area, 500 regular. Dixie Division, 1,000 permits, including Terry, 300 regular; Ox Valley, 400 regular; Diamond Valley, Val-ley, 300 either sex post season. Boulder Mountain, 400 regular. Antimony, 500 regular. Kolob mountain, 300 anterless. Manti forest, 1300 regular and 450 either sex post season as follows: fol-lows: Huntington Canyon, 200; Orangeville, 50; Manti Mountain,' 100, and Fairview, 100. Fish Lake Forest, 6700 regular; including Oak City, 500; Beaver, 750; Fillmore, 500; Meadow, 500; Fish Creek-Dog Valley 800, Marys-vale, Marys-vale, 500; Circleville, 500; Salina Canyon, 1000; Fremont-Crater Lakes, 150; Thousand Lakes Mountain, Moun-tain, 200; and South Monroe, 1300. In addition, 300 either sex post season were authorized for a limited lim-ited area on North. Monroe mountain. moun-tain. North Nebo, 600 either sex post season. South Nebo, 600 either sex post season. Hobble Creek, 200 regular. Diamond Fork, 500 regular. Current Creek area, including West Fork of Duchesne, 400 regular. regu-lar. Avintaquin, 400 regular. Agricultural land adjacent to Heber City, 125 regular. Coalville, 200 either sex post season. Kamas, 500 regular. Timpanogos, 400 regular. Grantsville area, 400 regular, including 100 for Big Creek on west side of Stansbury range and 300 for limited area on southeast side of range. Salt Lake unit, 750 either sex post season. |
