Show D. U. P. CAMP SPRING ' CREEK MET THURSDAY afternoon, at the ome of Mrs. Hilda Grant, with Mrs. G. W. Friel vice-captain, in charge of the program. Community singing was led by Mrs. Erma Brailsford and Mrs. Eva Johnson read a letter of greet-1 ings from the county captain, Mrs. Edith M. Powell. Captain Christa Lee conducted business of the camp. The program included a talk on parliamentary rules by Mrs. Maude Christensen, who led members in a salute to the flag. There were two vocal duets by Evelyn Allen and Joy Diamond with guitar accompaniment. accom-paniment. The history of her grandfather, John Lowry, was given giv-en by Mrs. Iris McArthur, and the lesson was by Mrs. Anna Johnson. At the close of the meeting, tasty refreshments were served to 27 members and guests. Assisting hostesses were Mrs. Emma Brails-ford, Brails-ford, Mrs. Stella Straw, Mrs. Ret-ta Ret-ta Harmer and Mrs. Ann Johnson. |
