Show FUNERAL HELD AT DELTA FOR LOCAL MAN Mell Twitchell, 32, of this city, died Friday afternoon at a Provo hospital of flu-pneumonia. He had been ill about 10 days. He was born in Beaver, January 27, 1910, a son of Parley P. and Margaret Despain Twitchell. Before coming to Springville in 1941, the family lived 11 years at Los Angeles, Calif., where he operated op-erated a tourist camp. The family resides at the A. V. Sanford farm at the mouth of Hobble Creek canyon. can-yon. Recently Mr. Twitchell had been employed at the steel plant defense project. Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Ruby Bunker Twitchell, are a daughter and two sons, Lois Faye, Melvin Arthur, and Rulon Blaine also a brother and three sisters, Mrs. Louise Setton, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Seletha Shunn, also of Los Angeles; Mrs. Bernice Allman of El Centro, Calif., and Grant Twitchell of Nevada. Ne-vada. Funeral services were conducted at the Delta Second ward chapel on Monday afternoon. Burial was I in the Delta cemetery. |
