Show HOSPITAL The 164-year-old Greenbrier hotel, ho-tel, at White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., has been taken over by the government. It was converted into an army hospital in October. The 6,500 acres of ground include three golf courses, casino, swimming pool and stables. The purchase price was $3,300,000. o In March easy-going Americans will begin to suspect that it takes a lot of money to win a war. o Whether the nation can afford it or not, in view of the war, we are in for politics as usual during the next twenty-two months. |
