" - ' i ;-:f:: ,,v!o;;i(si.,; ; The three stoves of blast furnace Number One at the $150,000,000 Geneva Steel Works, which is being built by Columbia Steel Company, Com-pany, subsidiary of the U. S. Steel Corporation, for the Defense Plant Corporation near Provo, Utah, are shown under construction in this picture. Geneva Works will include three blast furnaces, each with a daily capacity of 1,200 tons of iron. Major concrete work on blast furnace Number Two has already been completed. |
