Show GEO. D.CLYDE TO SPEAK AT KIWANIS MEETING Professor George D. Clyde, dean of the school of engineering at the U. S. A. C, Logan, will be the principal speaker at a Tneeting of the Kiwanis club at 7:30 p. m. this evening in the Second ward hall. The meeting will be under the direction of President E. A. Strong, with Mayor W. W. Clyde as toastmaster. The club meeting last week, the first under direction of the new officers of the club, featured a talk bv President E. A. Strong on ob- jectives of the club for the coming year. J. Y. Bearnson, vice-president, was toastmaster. Music during the evening included includ-ed vocal solos by Ed Williams, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Mary Bird. The club had as special guests during the evening, Carl Measom, home from the Pacific war zone, and Abe Hartley, a former Kiwan-ian, Kiwan-ian, from East Palestine, Ohio. |
