Show KOLOB GIRLS ' DEFEAT COPPERETTES Kolob Lumber girls continued their winning streak against the Debutante field with a 1 to 0 win over the strong Copperettes at Magna Monday night. The win for the Kolob team gave them a two-game two-game lead over their nearest rivals, Copperettes. The win was Beverly Twelves' fifth straight shut-out, a record equaled by no other pitcher to date in the league this year. Kolob's winning run in their Monday game came with a home run by Lenore Weight, roving fielder for the locals. Baxter, Cop-perette Cop-perette pitcher, held the locals to one hit, while Twelves allowed five for the Magna team. The score: R. H. E.
