Show R. V. WRIGHT TO SPEAK AT FARM MEETING R. V. Wright has been secured for the principal speaker at the annual meeting of the Springville National Farm Loan association to be held at the Rivoli theatre on Tuesday, February 11th, beginning begin-ning at 1 p. m., Ernest M. Mad-sen, Mad-sen, secretary-treasurer of the association, as-sociation, announces. Mr. Wright will discuss the proposed pro-posed changes in "farm legislation which include a continuation of the three and one-halt per cent interest rate, elimination of stock liability and farm debt adjustment! adjust-ment! ' ' Other features of the program will include reports of the year's activities by the directors and secretary-treasurer, election of two directors to serve for three-year terms, and a free jicture show. Similar announcements went out this week to the association's farmer members, most of whom live in the vicinity of Springville and Mapleton. Loans serviced by the association amounted to $445,-600.00 $445,-600.00 on December 31st. Directors of the association are A. Leo Harmer, Heber Houtz, M. A. Boyer, Glenn Coffman, and Selvoy J. Boyer, ivith the terms of A. Leo Harmer and Selvoy J. Boyer expiring at this time. |
