Show RESURFACING OF SPRINGVILLE ROAD OKEHED Three miles of U. S. highway 91 from south of the Springville underpass to Spanish Fork Main street, with an estimated cost of $15,000 for the improvement, was authorized Tuesday by the Utah State Road commission. The one-inch resurfacing will require some 1500 tons of natural rock asphalt, according to road commission engineers. Due to necessity ne-cessity for early completion of the project, the work will be done under informal contract and there will be no formal advertisement for bids, officials said. Natural rock asphalt surfacing is a recent Innovation on Utah highways, and has proven an exceptionally ex-ceptionally durable and smooth surfacing material. |
