Show MIDGE OSTLER SERVICES HELD Beautiful and touching services were held Sunday afternoon in the Provo Sixth ward chapel in honor of Midge Marie Ostler, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ostler. Immediate cause of the child's death which occurred Wednesday at the Utah Valley hospital was cardiac and respiratory failure under un-der ether anesthesia during a minor min-or operation. Speakers at the services were Don Webster, Patriarch Andrew M. Anderson of the Utah stake, Herald G. Clark,, of the stake presidency, pres-idency, asd Bishop Terry J. Old-royd Old-royd as presiding officer spoke briefly. Prayers were offered by Bishop Amoyt Cherrington of Springville, Spring-ville, Leo G. Knight and Thomas Harwood. Musical numbers included two numbers by a ladies trio composed of Afton Madsen, Reva Knight and Louise Johnson, "Just a Wearyin' For You" and "Lullaby," "Lulla-by," and Harvey Hutchinson of Springville sang "Sometime We'll Understand." Crede Brimhall played play-ed a cornet solo. The child was born August 4, 1935, in Springville. Surviving, besides her parents, are one sister, Norma Arline, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Lavell Ostler of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hardy of Provo. Interment was in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery under the direction direc-tion of the Claudin Funeral home. 1 |
