Show DELPHIAN S ENTERTAIN 4 AT CONCLUDING SOCIAL Members of the Mt. Maple Del-phians Del-phians were entertained Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Earl Condie, marking the closing of Delphian activities for this season. The occasion was arranged also for presentation of the past president's presi-dent's pin to Mrs. J. W. Grant. A nicely arranged dinner was served,, the- centerpiece on the dining table being in pink and white rosebuds and snapdragons with tall pink tapers at each end. Mrs. G. Ray Hales was toastmas-ter toastmas-ter and gave a short resume of Delphian accomplishments during the past three years. Each of the chapter president for the three years, also gave a toast, telling of activities during the year they served. Mrs. Catherine D. Wills told of the first year Mrs. M. R. Straw the second, and Mrs. J. W. Grant, the third year. Covers were arranged for the following members: Mrs. M. R. Straw, Mrs. J. W. Grant, Mrs. G. Ray Hales, Mrs. George Nelson, Mrs. Catherine D. Wills, Mrs. C. G. Salisgury, Mrs. F. L. Graham, Sunnydale, Mrs. W. W. Clyde, Mrs. Mary Smart, Mrs. Mark Johnson and the hostess. Mrs. Condie was assisted in the dinner by Mrs. M. R. Straw. |
