Show J Mrs. Betty L. Russell and son David returned by plane this week from Boston, Mass., where they spent two months visiting her husband's folks. She is at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Har-ry Lee. Mardell Burnett of Ogden, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Roylance, the guest of Norma Roylance. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Cal Johnson spent the week-end at Strawberry. Mrs. Rose Boyer, former resident resi-dent of this city, is spending the week with relatives and friends in Springville. Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Lindstrom and son of Spring Canyon visited over the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ruff and Mrs. Blanche Blackley and family. Jerrol Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Boyer, is spending the week in 3righam City. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Weight and son Glenn and Mr. and Mrs. La-Mar La-Mar Weight visited in Bingham and Salt Lake City Sunday and were dinner guests in the latter place of Mr. and Mrs. Don Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. Ted R. Kindred came from San Fernando, Calif., the past week to spend a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kindred, before going into in-to the service. He left Friday for San Diego, Calif., where he will 1 train with the Marines. He has been employed for the past three years with the Lockheed Corp., at Burbank, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Wright (Marian Miner) and two sons and daughter of Burley, Ida., are visiting at the home of the former's for-mer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. R Miner. Paul Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen, returned home this week from San Francisco, Cal., where he visited his sister, Phyllis, and other relatives and friends. Phyllis Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen of Mapleton, Maple-ton, eployed with the International Internation-al Business Machine Co., at San Francisco, Calif., since March, spent the week-end here with her parents and other relatives and friends. She is to be in Salt Lake City for two weeks and then go to New York City for several months' training with the company. I Gertrude Ann Welch has returned re-turned to her home here following follow-ing a visit with friends at Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Arizona. Corp. Wong Yuk Nam of New York City was the dinner guest on Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Welch enroute from a furlough to his station at Tonopah, Nev Mrs. Keith Boyer and baby of Brigham City returned to her home after visiting Lt. Boyers parents, Mr. and Mrs. Selvoy- J. Boyer in Springville. Lt. Boyer is stationed in Honolulu, T. H. G. Fred Weight left early Wednesday Wed-nesday for Modesta, Calif., where he plans to spend two or three weeks. Lt. and Mrs. Mark Singleton (Zella Hales) visited relatives and friends in Springville and Provo the past week. They recently came from Texas where Lt. Singleton Sin-gleton has been stationed, and have now gone to Liberal, Kan. |
