Show Haste Urged In Postwar Plans Industry must adjust its financial finan-cial problems now to prevent business busi-ness failure and widespread uun-employment uun-employment when war contracts are cancelled, according to Norman Nor-man W. Wilson, chairman of the Corporation Peacetime Planning Committee of the National Association Asso-ciation of Manufacturers. Mr. Wilson, president of Ham-mermill Ham-mermill Paper Co., Erie, Pa., has warned that demobilization may come suddenly and sufficient funds must be made available to meet the cost for both government govern-ment and industry. "The wheels of government move slowly, but industry can't wait ... it must seek the quickest available sources sourc-es of cash," he said. |
