Show Camp Hobble Creek Elects Officers Camp Hobble Creek DUP recently re-cently elected new officers and they were presented at a meeting held last Thursday evening, at the home of Mrs. Ruby Twitchell, with Mrs. Margaret Hiatt and Mrs. Wanda Miner, co-hostesses. The new officers include: Mrs. Thelma Carter, captain;' Mrs. Mae Huntington and Miss Alzada Wilmott, Wil-mott, vice-captains; Reva Andrea-son, Andrea-son, secretary - treasurer; Lyle Childs, lesson leader; Utahna Felix, registrar; Donna Whiting, parlimentarian; Maude Nielson, historian; Venna Reese, historian; Alzada Wilmott, organist; Myrtle Childs, chorister; Blanch Nielson, custodian; Myrtle Childs, librarian. librar-ian. Miss Madeline Weight is retiring retir-ing captain; Mrs. Thelma Carter and Mrs. Blanch Nielson served as vice-captains -and Mrs. Wanda Miner was secretary last year. The meeting last Thursday featured feat-ured a program consisting of a pioneer history given by Mrs. Hil-grath Hil-grath Patten and the lesson on pioneer humor given by Mrs. Reva Andreason. ' Commemorating the 50th anniversary anni-versary of reclamation, Captain Madeline Weight gave a talk on the development of reclamation projects in Utah fulfilling a prophesy proph-esy made by Brigham Young. The meeting was concluded with refreshments served by- the hostesses. host-esses. Special guests at the meeting meet-ing were county officers, Mrs. La-Preal La-Preal Friel and Mrs. Henrietta Early. |
