Walker, World War I veteran, was elected commander of Springville Post No. 28, American Amer-ican Legion, at a meeting conducted con-ducted on Wednesday of last week at Memorial Hall. He succeeds Mack Collings. Frank Bishop was elected first vice-commander and Rex Wardle, second vice - commander. Other new officers include Woodrow Sully, adjutant; Miles Curfew, finance officer; H. T. Reynolds, Jr., chaplain; George Nelson, historian; his-torian; J. A. Miller, service officer; Swen Jensen and Keith Davis, sergeants-ab-arms. The meeting was under direction direc-tion of Comander Collings. The new officers will be insalled at the first meeting following the state convention in June. |
