V" 1 j jf . 5?V I Mays Anderson, left, and Mrs. Everett Mayne, BOOWest 8th South, inspect the fine new Hotpoint Electric range given Mrs. Mayne by Anderson's as an award for her submitting the oldest electric range in a contest conducted by Anderson's Appliances. Mrs. Mayne's 'range was a 1925 model making mak-ing it 27 years old. An old-timer owned by Lee Miner' came close to winning the contest but was found to be one year younger, being a 1926 model. The contest began the latter part of February and closed the last of March, but the authentic dates of the old stoves submitted in the contest have just this week been established. |
