Show impressionism in Music Music Club Discussion Impressionism in Music, was the subject of the November discussion discus-sion at the Springville Federated Music club meeting held at the home of Edna Nielson Friday evening. eve-ning. Mrs. A. L. Erickson and Alazada Wilmott presented the topic comparing com-paring the impressionistic period of music to that of art and literature litera-ture and giving a review of the impressionistic trend in music, said to have been started by De Bussey in France. Miss Wilmott also gave a piano selection "Maid with the Flaxen Hair," by De Bussey, demonstrating a part of the program subject. The meeting was in charge of President Zina Johnson who announced an-nounced the next program to be on the second Friday in December with Mrs. Arthur Finley as hostess. |
