Show Farm-City Events Outlined For Week Beginning Today Farm, city and labor group leaders and committeemen com-mitteemen have worked out a fine program for Farm-City Farm-City week beginning today. Thursday, Nov. 15 with " a tour of the Geneva Steel plant and continuing mrougn iueauay, November 20. The steel plant tour is scheduled sched-uled to begin at 2 p.m. with an invitation extended to everyone to participate. Special busses will meet those making the tour, ' at the Main Gate and will transport the party through the Steel plant and the Roller Mills. Reservations should be made with Clair Accord by phoning FR 3-7700 or FR 3-1156 3-1156 or with Sterling Price Springville Kiwanis President. On Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. those who desire to see the Vocational Voca-tional School, are asked to be at the School at 12 noon. All high school Ag. students are also invited in-vited and teams from each of tne schools will' judge soils and receive expert soil conservation advice. This program is expected to prove especially interesting to all agriculturists. On Sunday, November 18, all churches will feature speeches on Farm-City Labor activities and the purposes and significance of the WAkpanel of five firmers, including includ-ing men representing labor and business will appear on radio station sta-tion KOVO on the People Speak program at 9 p.m. November 18 For Tuesday Nov. 20, a tour of farms in the county is planned Everyone interested in making the tour of the south end is asked to beat the Huish theater on Utah Ave in Payson at 11 a.m. imee fypes of farms will be visited including in-cluding a conservation faim, a dairy Grade A farm and a storage and packaging farm.
