Show vo und-'n -.4 bo u I Joun . . . Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lambert and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hodges of Walnut Creek, Calif, returned to their home Sunday after visiting with relatives in Springville. They came to Utah for the services of Clifford Elder buried in Richfield Saturday. Mrs. Nettie Hoyle, Salt Lake City, visited in Springville over the weekend the house guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr: and Mrs. Bert Brown and she also attended the funeral services of H. L. Sumsion. A large number of out-of-town relatives visited in Springville Saturday Sat-urday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Sumsion coming for the services ser-vices for H. L. Sumsion, including: Mr. and Mrs. Parley Kump, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Switzer of Santa Barbara, Calif.; Theodore Sumsion and son of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Sumners'of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Christensen, Kennilworth; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Halliday of Santa-quin; Santa-quin; Mr. and Mrs. Barlow Simpson Simp-son and family, Mrs. Blanch Van Boskirk, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barlow and daughter and son of Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mendenhall and children of Las Vegas, visited early this week with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clements, parents of Mrs. Mendenhall and other relatives and friends. Evan D. Francis, son of Mrs. Barbara Francis of 137 S. 2nd E. Stk was among the new students who entered Western Reserve University Uni-versity in Cleveland, Ohio, for the winter session. Western Reserve is made up of three undergraduate colleges Adelbert, Mather, and Cleveland College and eight graduate and professional schools including School of Dentistry, School of Law, School of Nursing, School of Medicine, Med-icine, School of Business, School of Applied Social Scieces, School of Library Science and Graduate School. Mr. Francis is enrolled in the School of Dentistry. |
