Show Top City Softball Clubs Clash Fri. at 8 For League Leadership The two top teams in the city softball league, Springville Jaycees and the National Guard clubs, will settle the league leadership Friday night at 8 p.m. (weather permitting) at the city ball park. Both teams are currently current-ly sporting a record of wins with no losses. National Guard's club has won three in a row while the Jaycees have taken two. In the opening game Friday night, tho Mapleton team will meet Ruff Garage to settle the issue as to who will occupy the cellar position of the league. ' Next Tuesday, July 1, the Jaycees Jay-cees will play Mapleton at 7 p.m., while Brookside Market will meet Ruff's. This game was shifted from the original schedule because of rain. Last week's results showed the Springville Jaycees defeating Ruff Garage 7-2 and the National Guard taking the measure of Brookside Market 5-2. Standings of the league follow: W L Pet.
