Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens (Jessie Gunnell) were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conover, returning to their home in Shreveport, La., on June 16. Mrs. Blanch Iieal has returned from an enjoyable vacation in Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park where she went for the Rces family reunion. Family members, including two brothers and two sisters and their families, were guests of a brother, Dr. Tom Rees and wife of Idaho Fals, Ida., at his cabin in the Park. They spent four days together and Mrs. Beal reports fishing was really good, with her catching 19 fine ones. Mrs. Estella Wixom is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Aileen Higgin-son Higgin-son and family at Greenriver, Wyo. this week. , Miss Mary Dalton returned Monday Mon-day from Denver, Colo., where she spent two weeks with her sister, Mrs. Alan Knoll, and family and other relatives and friends. Mrs. E. M. Benedict of Ogden spent the week end in Springville, the house guest of her sister, Mrs. Stella Wixom, and visited other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gunnell of Layton, formerly . of Springville, has had Mrs. Gunnell's brother and wife visiting them this week. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Harmer have had as their guests, Reed L. Clegg and wife, Naomi Harmer Clegg, and their four children, Carolyn, Connie, Kenneth and Marcia, who are spending a vacation vaca-tion in Utah from Vancouver, Wash., where Mr. Clegg is manager mana-ger of the Veterans' Hospital. Attorney and Mrs. Jackson B. Howard -have just returned from Yellowstone National Park where Mr. Howard attended the regular meeting of the American Bar Association As-sociation and the annual meeting of the Utah State Bar Association. Mr. Howard is vice-president of the Utah Bar Association, and he served on the membership registration regi-stration committee for the American Ameri-can Bar Association meetings, and was a member of the panel discussion discus-sion at the State Bar meeting. The Howards were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Don O. Tibbitts, Jr. of Manti. The Howards recently moved to Springville, where Mi Howard is a practicing attorney. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rowland of Long Beach, Calif., spent a few days of the - past week visiting Ted's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Rowland, and other relatives and friends. |
