Miss Mary Catherine Wills has returned from an enjoyable vacation vaca-tion with relatives and friends in San Diego and Los Angeles, Calif., being gone about 10 days. She is a daughter of Mrs. Catherine" D. Wills. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Holley are leaving today to attend the Pacific National Life Insurance Company convention to be held at Berkeley, Calif., at Hotel Claremont, beginning begin-ning Sunday, June 29 and continue ing through Thursday, July 3. Mr. and Mrs. Holley will also visit relatives rel-atives and friends in Los Angeles, Calif., before returning home. " Michael Brinton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brinton of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., is spending a month's vacation with relatives in Springville. Spring-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and family of Mapleton motored to Thatcher, Idaho, Sunday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Heath and family, former residents. resi-dents. Accompanying the Johnsons was Leon Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Larsen, who with Dean Johnson, will spend a week at the farm in Thatcher. Mr. and Mrs. Dee R. Shurtleff and daughter, Lo;ua Dee and son, Wayne, have returned from a two weeks enjoyable vacation in California. Cal-ifornia. They went by way of Lake Tahoe and visited in Oakland and other Bay area cities. Their daughter, daugh-ter, Lorna Dee, remained to spend the sumer with her grandmother, Mrs. Arnold Shurtleff and other relatives. i. Mrs. Hazel Lowenstein and children, chil-dren, Ruth, Miriam and Paul, accompanied ac-companied by Mary Holbert are here from Terre Haute, Ind., to visit Mrs. Lowenstein's mother, Mrs. Nellie Anderson and other relatives and friends. They expect to be here until about July 21. ; lioand- 'n--Aboul Jown . . . Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weight in company with their son, Roy G. Weight, have been visiting a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Kelly, at Marysville, and a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Weight and family fa-mily at Yuba City, Calif. They were gone about a week. Janice Weight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Weight, accompanied them down and will stay there for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weight have as their guest this week, Miss Bonnie Smith of Pasadena, Calif. They are expecting also- their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Robert Weight, and daughter, Ellen, of Rivera, Calif., the latter part of the week. Robert is coming up for the Fourth of July, and also Joe Sanders, who will also join his wife and family who have beeri visiting here the past few weeks. Cpl. Jay Weight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weight, has been spending a few days leave with his parents and other relatives and friends from March Field, Calif. air force base. i Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Roylance and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bird have returned from San Antonio, Texas where they attended a national na-tional convention for county officials. of-ficials. Accompanying Mr. and Mrs. Bird were the Benetts of Provo and the Durrants and Roy-lances Roy-lances were together. They visited many points of interest enroute. |
