Show Over 300 Guests Help Celebrate The A. Y. Wheeler's Golden Wedding More than 300 relatives and friends called on Mr. and Mrs. A. Y.- Wheeler on Sunday to help them celebrate their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Day. All of their children and most of their grandchildren were also present to join in the happy occasion. Every' detail of the lovely affair was beautiful" and entertaining. In one room a display of gifts given to the couple for their wedding wed-ding fifty years ago, with names of those who gave them, attached, added much interest to the party. Also another interesting feature was the family tree. Planted in a large gold-tinted shoe, it had four limbs and on each were pictures of the couple's children and their grandchildren and great grandchildren grand-children with pictures Of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler and daughter Helen occupying a place on the tree-trunk. tree-trunk. Decorations were beautiful with arrangements of chrysanthemums and other fall flowers in gold and white placed throughout the entertaining en-tertaining rooms. A beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake trimmed in yellow and white rose-buds and topped with wedding bells centered center-ed a table covered with a lovely linen cloth from Shanghi, China. Placed in a large mirror encircled with white clematis, the cake was reflected in the soft light of tall white candelabra in crystal holders. ; A lovely anniversary clock in gold was a gift from their children chil-dren who arranged the wedding party. A book and flowers were other expressions from good wishers. wish-ers. Acting as hosts and hostesses for the party were their sons and daughters: Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Marie) Cranmer, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Wheeler, Miss Helen Wheeler, Whee-ler, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Parker (Inez) of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Parker (Aleene) from Tacoma, Wash. After the reception, the immediate immed-iate family was entertained with a program in the evening with Mrs. Ella Reynolds acting as toastmis-tress toastmis-tress and numbers were given by family members.
