Walker of the Springville high school hag been named president of the Region Three Utah High School Activities Association for a three year period. per-iod. His term began July 1 and will terminate June 30, 1956. Serving as secretary-treasurer in the organization is F. Dee San-ford San-ford also of the high school here. As president of the Activities Association, Principal Walker will automatically become a member of the board of directors of the state organization. The state setup set-up includes eight regions with one member on the board from each region. In each region a similar set-up is in effect with a regional board of managers under the president. pres-ident. These officers are directly responsible for the program of activities for the high schools in thea region.
