Show Charles Harding, Husband of Local Woman, Dies in MY Charles L. Harding, 47, of 316 Manhasset Woods Rd., Manhasset, N.Y., vice president of Socc-ny-Vacuum Oil Company in charge of Middle East affairs died Wednesday Wed-nesday at Memorial hospital after an Unless of several months. A native of Payson, Utah, he joined the Socony-Vacuum organization organ-ization in 1945 and became a director direc-tor in 1948. He had been a vice president and member of the executive ex-ecutive committee since January. He was a graduate of the Utah Agricultural College and the University Uni-versity of Califoruia. He had been employed by the Shell Oil Company Com-pany in San Francisco and New York and served during the war in various capacities with the Federal Fed-eral Petroleum Administration for War. He is survived by his wife, the former Aleen Bird of Springville, daughter of the late Arch and Anna S. Bird, and three children. Marianna, Catherine Bee, and Charles Jr. of New York. |
