Show Frank C. Robertson Has New Book Published Friday Frank C. Robertson, Springville story writer, has another book, Sagebrush Sorrel" being published pub-lished this week by Thomas Nelson Nel-son and Sons of New York. Publication Pub-lication date is Friday, September 25. Author of some 150 novels, Mr. Robertson has done a fine job with his latest story. Young readers will find it especially entertaining and it will give young or old a feeling of appreciation for the writers understanding of ranch and range locale. . , The story tells of a colt born in a cave after an outlaw had ridden the mother nearly to death. Two young people, Ollie and Helen see the colt when he is a month old and the boy decides that some day the colt will belong to him. The hardships endured by the spirited animal before he comes into possession of Ollie, a lonely boarded-out orphan, who becomes a ranch owner, furnishes fine reading read-ing material and excitement for anyone. Mr. Robertson is described by his publishers as a natural born story teller, his early life and his background supplying atmosphere and authenticity to his books. Besides writing 150 novels, which have been printed in several sev-eral languages, he has approximately approxi-mately a thousand magazine articles arti-cles to his credit. He is presently president of the League of Utah Writers. |
