Show . Farewell Sunday . . . r ' ?. v ' W. Ken Heaps Program Planned For Missionary Ken Heaps Sunday To honor Willard Ken Heaps who is leaving soon to represent the Eighth ward in the Western States LDS mission, a farewell testimonial will be given in his ward Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. to which all members of the ward and friends are invited. Ken, a graduate of the Springville Spring-ville high school and former Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University student, is a son of . Mr. and Mrs. Duane Heaps. He enters the mission home November 7, and will leave after the schooling for mission headquarters head-quarters in Denver. The program in his honor will begin with the congregation singing, sing-ing, "Come, Come Ye Saints," with Invocation by Gary Harmer. The Sacrament song will be, "O God the Eternal Father," with Bishop Clarence L. Jensen of the ninth ward to speak. There will be a vocal vo-cal duet by Gerry and Ken Heaps followed by remarks by the parents, par-ents, a piano solo, Larson Boyer; response by the missionary; remarks re-marks by Bishop Melvin Duke of the Eighth ward. The closing song will be, "God be With You," after which Bill Gale will give the benediction. bene-diction. Prelude and postlude music will be given by Larsen Boyer.
