Show Funeral Services Saturday for Henry L. Sumsion Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed Saturday at 1:30 p.m., in the Fifth ward church for Henry D. Sumsion, 87, a former resident of Springville, who died Tuesday in California. Bishop Grant Thorn will be in charge. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Ev-ergreen cemetery. Mr. . Sumsion was born in Springville Dec. 12, 1868. His parents par-ents were George and Elizabeth Ann Bird Sumsion, early settlers. He married Phoebe Barlow April 2, 1892 and she died in 1951. He worked on construction during dur-ing his early life and later farmed at Chester, Sanpete County. Surviving are five daughters and a son: Mrs. Niel (Dora) Davis, Dav-is, Ephraim; Mrs. Parley (Hilda) Kump, and Mrs. Clyde (Susanna) Switzer, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Victor (Clara) Christensen, Kenilworth; Mrs. J. Reginald (Vera) Sumners, Salt Lake City; Henry Thoodore Sumsion, Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif.; also a brother and three sisters, J. M. Sumsion, Mrs. Grace McKenzie, Mrs. Christie Lee and Mrs. . Minetta Whiting all of Springville. |
