Show Camp Spring Creek DUP Holds Sept. Meet ; At the first regular DUP Camn -Spring Creek meeting- this season held Thursday afternoon of last week, the retiring executive offi cers of the camp were honored and a fine program presented under rli rection of Mrs. LaPreal FriPi" camp captain. The meeting began with eroim singing and with invocation bv Mrs. Irma Brailsford. After th salute to the flag, the Misses Bon rue and Eva Lou Burrows enter tamed with duet numbers with Hawaiian guitar accompaniment Joan Duncan and Diane Evans also gave pantomime numbers. A tribute to the retiring officers Mrs. Irma Brailsford, Mrs. Nellie Burt and Mrs. Veloy Bailey was given by Mrs. Gladys Boyer and in behalf of the camp, Mrs.' Josephine Joseph-ine Duncan presented each with a book "Heart Throbs of the West " compiled by Mrs. Katie B. Carter Each of the outgoing officers responded. re-sponded. The lesson was given by M-s Friel and the closing prayer hv Mrs. Brailsford. y Light refreshments concluded the meeting. Hostesses included Mrs. Friel, Mrs. Ellen Larsen, Mrs Charlotte Jensen and Mrs. Emma Haymond. |
