They were enroute to Hollywood from their 1 home in New Jersey and also New 1 York, where Mr. Foran had been 1 doing some show work. -Friday I evening the Claudins had a few I friends in to meet the visitors, in- eluding the Clifton Talboes, the I Fisher Smiths, the Clarence Har- 1 mons of Provo. and Bryce Thorn and his wife of Springville. 1 Mr. and Mrs. LaRell Johnson and four children have returned 1 from an enjoyable vacation trip to the Mesa Verde National Park, 1 Colorado, and Carlsbad Caverns 1 in New Mexico. They traveled from Carlsbad Caverns across to El Paso, Texas, and went into Jaurez,, Mexico. Enroute home, they en- joyed the view of the Painted Des- ert and Petrified Forests in Ari- zona; also the suspension bridge over the Little Colorado near Cam- eroh and the Navajo Bridge over the Colorado. They enjoyed parts 1 of the trip through the Indian ter- ritory and stopped for a while at the South Rim of Grand Canyon on their way home. They were gone a week, returning Saturday I evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Howard and son Jackie, spent several days last week in Denver on a combined business and vacation trip. They visited at Moab, Grand Junction and Colorado Springs enroute, at- tending the dog races at the lat- ter place. They were especially in- terested in the Garden of the Gods and other scenic areas in Colorado. |
