Pretty Reception in Stake House Honors New Mr., Mrs. Boyack The Salt Lake Temple was the scene of the wedding wed-ding of pretty Miss Marva Poulsen who became the bride of Mack Boyack on Tuesday, September 7., Wit- f,K J' - ' f .... r i' J i 2r j ..--a. -. Jex Boyack and other close relatives. rela-tives. After the ceremony the newly-weds newly-weds were honored at a wedding breakfast given by parents of the groom in Salt Lake City for members mem-bers of the wedding party and the following evening, parents of the bride gave a wedding reception in Kolob Stake House. The bride and groom greeted their many guests in an autumn setting emphasized by huge baskets bas-kets of mums and glads and an I archway entwined with flowers and ferns. For her wedding attire, the new Mrs. Boyack choose a lace and tulle over satin with ruffles of lace and tulle down the side. Her gown was fashioned with long sleeves and tulle yoke encircled with lace rosettes which also trimmed trim-med the skirt. Her veil of illusion fell from a Juliet cap and she carried car-ried a pretty bridal bouquet of pink and white rose buds and carnations car-nations with white satin streamers. Her attendants were Barbara Musdock as matron of honor; La-Ree La-Ree Biglow, Anita Richmond and Deanna Peay as bridesmaids, and little Jeanine Boyack, junior bridesmaid. Their gowns were in various shades of rose taffetta with scalloped neckline and gored skirts and their colonial bouquets were in shades of pink and white encircled with net. Fred Childs was best man. Their corsages were pink and white roses. i Francis Rowe acted as master of ceremonies for the program of the evening, announcing a vocal solo by Norma W. Mecham, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Lola Weight; a vocal solo, Robert Pierce, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Weight; readings, Ruth Ann Boyer, and Bud Evans of Spanish Fork; accordian selections, selec-tions, Margie Gardner of Spanish Fork. Mrs. Clarence Erdmann gave a toast to the bride and Ivan Mad-sen Mad-sen to the groom. Serving refreshments at the reception re-ception were Janice Beardall, Yvonne Biglow, Kae Blackett, Hazel Ha-zel Lunceford and Jane Reese. Miss Maurine Manwaring was in charge of the guest book. Acting as host and hostesses during the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boyack. Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Erdmann and Mrs. Eugene Merriott were in charge of serving. serv-ing. Ushers included Billie Bearnson, Evan Murdock, Kent Boyack and Bill Whitney. In the gift room were Darlene Clark, Norma Simkins, Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin King, Jeanine Watts, Mrs. Boyd C. Davis, Joan Bleggi, Esther Rae Young, assisted by David Poulsen, Robert Peay, Gerilyn Peay and Ronnie Gay. After the reception, the couple spent a few days honeymoon in Las Vegas and at Boulder Dam, and are now making their home in Provo. |
