Show a short biography of Mrs. Madsen. The concluding number on the well-arranged musical included in-cluded a piano solo, by Mrs. Mary Boyer who rendered Narcissis by Bevin. Twenty-five members of the club and guests were in attendance at-tendance and enjoyed tasty refreshments re-freshments at the close of the meeting. Fine Program Heard At Music Club Meet A most interesting and entertaining en-tertaining meeting for members mem-bers of the Springville Federated Feder-ated Music club was held Friday Fri-day evening at the home of Mrs. Warren Tonks. Mrs. Maurice Bird was in charge of the meeting and Mrs. Virgil Bird presented the program illustrating American Ameri-can and instrumental music during the period from 1860 to 1920. To lend atmosphere to the various types of music and to provide an appropriate setting, paintings were exhibited. exhibi-ted. Included in- the paintings were the works of several local lo-cal artists. Appearing on the program were Miss Richardson of Provo, who gave piano numbers. num-bers. Don Humphrey sang, "To Spring Again," accompanied by Mrs. Maurice Bird and Donald Allen gave a vocal number, "Romany Life." His accompanist was Mrs. Bird. A piano duet was given by Mrs. Julia Sumsion and her daughter Carolyn and a vocal vo-cal trio composed of .Mrs. Minnie Warren, Mrs. Annie Forshee and Mrs. Mary Schrei-ver Schrei-ver sang, 'Green Cathedral" by Han, and "Mighty Like A Rose." Accompanist was Mrs. Lloyd Bird. Other numbers on the musical musi-cal program included, a vocal solo by Miss Hannah Rowland, who sang, "At Dawn" by Cadman, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Witney. A double trio composed of Mrs. Ellen Andeson, Mrs. Erma Brailsford, Mrs. Bess Mendenhall, Mrs. Marjorie Bird, Mrs. Philda Finley, and Mrs. .Annie Forshee, gave, "Pale Moon" and "Entrancing-Light," "Entrancing-Light," the latter composition composi-tion by Mrs. Florence J.
